The District 54 Education Foundation hosts fundraisers throughout the year in partnership with local restaurants and other businesses. If you would be interested in partnering with us to raise money to benefit the children in our community, please email [email protected] or call (847) 357-5141.
The golf outing is our largest fundraiser of the year with all proceeds supporting the Families in Crisis Fund and District 54 Food Pantries. These two programs are behind our mission of supporting students today and preparing students for tomorrow. Children cannot be expected to learn when their basic needs are not being met. This year’s event will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road. The cost of $800 for a foursome includes 18 holes of golf, one drink ticket per golfer, and entrance to the awards luncheon following golf (around 1:30 p.m.).
Save the date and join the District 54 Education Foundation and School District 54 at the 22nd annual Run to Read on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Dirksen School. This event will include a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk and children’s races.
The Schaumburg Education Association and Schaumburg Educational Employees Organization host their annual Fall Craft & Vendor Fair in November each year at the District 54 Professional Learning Center. Thank you to all of the vendors, crafters, volunteers and attendees. In order to participate in this fair, vendors and crafters made a donation to the District 54 Education Foundation, to support financially struggling families in District 54.
