The District 54 Education Foundation proudly offers grants to District 54 students to fund their participation in a program of their choice. This grant is intended for children from families facing extenuating financial circumstances. Applications are due April 30, 2021. Applicants will be notified by letter in mid-May whether or not they received a grant. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, grants can be used for participation in programs/activities during the 2021-2022 school year including child care. Families who are in need of financial assistance and would like to apply for this grant should reach out to their school’s social worker. The Foundation was pleased to award more than $34,000 in grants to all 352 students who applied for the 2020-21 year.
