Bill McLeod has been mayor of the Village of Hoffman Estates since 2000 and a member of the Hoffman Estates Village Board since 1980. He has served as an ex officio member of the Foundation board since 2010 and said he enjoys having the privilege to help, in a small way, one of the best school districts in the state. McLeod, whose parents instilled in him the obligation to serve the greater community and give back for all they were given, is also involved with the Children’s Advocacy Center, WINGS, Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce and numerous governmental organizations.
